JOB DESCRIPTION – HR RECRUITER

Position: HR Recruiter
Department: Human Resources
Experience: 1–3 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reporting To: HR Manager / Director

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the complete recruitment cycle from sourcing to joining.

• Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, references, and other channels.

• Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.

• Conduct initial telephonic interviews and candidate assessments.

• Coordinate and schedule interviews with the concerned department/management.

• Follow up with candidates regarding interview status, selection, documentation, and joining.

• Maintain and update candidate databases and recruitment trackers.

• Prepare and maintain daily/weekly recruitment MIS reports.

• Coordinate with different departments to understand manpower requirements.

• Negotiate salary and discuss company policies with selected candidates.

• Ensure timely joining and proper documentation of new employees.

• Maintain recruitment records and confidential employee information.

• Assist in onboarding and induction of new employees.

• Handle employee queries related to recruitment and joining formalities.

• Maintain good relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Required Skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong follow-up and coordination skills.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

• Experience with job portals and candidate sourcing.

• Good understanding of recruitment and interview processes.

• Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.

• Strong negotiation and convincing skills.

• Good time-management and organizational skills.

• Positive attitude and professional approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Prior experience in recruitment/HR will be preferred.

• Knowledge of recruitment portals such as Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. will be an advantage.

• Number of candidates sourced and shortlisted.

• Interview-to-selection ratio.

• Offer-to-joining ratio.

• Timely closure of open positions.

• Quality of candidates hired.

• Candidate follow-up and joining conversion.

• Accuracy and timely maintenance of recruitment MIS.
