Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
Handle end-to-end recruitment for factory and office staff.
Hire workers, supervisors, executives, sales staff, and managerial positions as per company requirement.
Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning.
Prepare job descriptions and conduct interviews.
Manage joining formalities and employee documentation.
2. Attendance, Leave & Payroll Coordination
Monitor daily attendance, late coming, absenteeism, and overtime.
Coordinate salary processing with accounts/payroll team.
Maintain leave records and employee attendance reports.
Ensure proper salary deductions, PF, ESIC, advance, and overtime calculations.
3. Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance related to PF, ESIC, Labour Law, Minimum Wages, Bonus, Gratuity, Factory Act, and other applicable laws.
Maintain employee records as per statutory requirements.
Coordinate with consultants or government departments whenever required.
Ensure timely challan filing and compliance documentation.
4. Employee Relations & Discipline
Handle employee grievances and workplace issues.
Maintain discipline inside the factory and office.
Issue warning letters, show-cause notices, appointment letters, increment letters, and termination letters.
Resolve conflicts between employees and departments professionally.
5. HR Policies & Documentation
Prepare and implement HR policies, rules, and SOPs.
Maintain employee personal files and HR records.
Draft official letters, emails, memos, circulars, and notices.
Ensure all HR documents are properly updated and filed.
6. Training & Development
Identify training needs for employees and workers.
Conduct induction training for new joiners.
Coordinate skill development and safety training.
Support department heads in improving employee productivity.
7. Performance Management
Support performance review and appraisal process.
Track employee performance, punctuality, behaviour, and productivity.
Coordinate with management for increments, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
8. Factory HR Operations
Manage shop floor employee issues.
Coordinate with production, dispatch, store, sales, accounts, and admin departments.
Ensure smooth communication between management and employees.
Maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of HR operations in manufacturing industry.
Good understanding of labour laws, PF, ESIC, payroll, and compliance.
Strong communication and employee handling skills.
Ability to manage workers, staff, and department heads.
Good drafting skills for emails, notices, and letters.
Knowledge of MS Excel, attendance systems, and HR documentation.
Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
Qualification
MBA / PGDM in HR preferred.
Graduate candidates with strong HR experience may also apply.
Good knowledge of MS Office and HR software will be an advantage.
