Job Title: HR Manager (Publishing Industry)

Job Summary:

The HR Manager in a publishing organization is responsible for overseeing all human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development. The role requires a deep understanding of the publishing environment, including editorial, production, and creative teams, to effectively support talent and business goals.

6. Compensation & Benefits

Manage salary structures, payroll coordination, and benefits administration

Conduct market benchmarking within the publishing industry

Implement reward and recognition programs

7. Organizational Development

Support change management initiatives (e.g., digital transformation in publishing)

Align HR strategies with company goals

Analyze HR metrics and provide insights for decision-making

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

5–10 years of HR experience, preferably in publishing, media, or creative industries

Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices
