Job Title: HR Coordinator

Reporting To: HR Manager / Operations Head
Job Summary
The HR Coordinator supports the Human Resources department in day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment coordination, employee onboarding, HR documentation, attendance and payroll support, compliance, and employee engagement. This role ensures smooth HR processes and acts as a bridge between employees and management.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities such as interview scheduling and candidate follow-ups
Assist in screening resumes and maintaining candidate databases
Manage joining formalities, offer letters, and onboarding documentation
Conduct induction programs for new hires
HR Operations & Administration
Maintain employee records, files, and HR databases
Track attendance, leaves, shifts, and support payroll processing
Prepare HR letters (offer, confirmation, appraisal, exit letters)
Ensure timely updating of HR MIS and reports
Employee Relations
Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns
Support grievance handling and conflict resolution
Assist in employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
Compliance & Policies
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and statutory requirements
Support audits and maintain statutory documentation (PF, ESIC, etc.)
Assist in implementing HR policies and SOPs
Performance & Learning Support
Coordinate performance appraisal processes
Support training programs and skill-development initiatives
Exit Management
Coordinate exit formalities, clearance, and final settlements
Conduct or support exit interviews and documentation
Skills & Competencies

Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR practices
Proficiency in MS Office and HR software
Interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
MBA / PGDM in HR preferred
1–2 years of experience in an HR operations or coordination role
Experience in hospitality, retail, or service industry is an advantage
