Facility Manager – Security Gate (Key Responsibilities / JD)

1. Supervise all security gate operations and ensure 24/7 access control.

2. Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, vendors, and vehicles.

3. Verify visitor IDs, gate passes, material inward/outward documents, and approvals.

4. Ensure proper maintenance of visitor, vehicle, and material movement registers.

5. Monitor CCTV cameras, boom barriers, access control systems, and gate equipment.

6. Conduct surprise inspections of security guards, uniforms, and duty performance.

7. Coordinate with HR, Admin, Stores, and Transport for gate-related activities.

8. Ensure no unauthorized person, vehicle, or material enters or leaves the premises.

9. Investigate gate incidents and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

10. Ensure compliance with company security policies, safety rules, and statutory requirements.

11. Manage emergency situations such as fire, theft, accidents, or security breaches and coordinate with emergency services.

12. Train security staff on gate procedures, emergency response, and customer service.

13. Ensure housekeeping, lighting, and cleanliness of the gate area.

14. Maintain gate keys, access cards, and key control records.

15. Report security risks, equipment failures, and improvement opportunities to management.
