We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser with deep expertise in the textile and garment manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on knowledge of fabrics, sourcing, sampling, and order execution. You will act as a key liaison between clients, production teams, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and superior quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Execution & Management: Oversee the end-to-end merchandising workflow from order placement to final shipment delivery.

• Fabric & Trim Sourcing: Utilize deep technical knowledge of various fabrics (weaves, knits, blends, GSM, construction, and finishes) to source materials cost-effectively.

• Client & Buyer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers, clarifying specs, providing updates, and managing client expectations.

• Sampling Management: Coordinate directly with the sampling department for approval of proto samples, fit samples, and Pre-Production (PP) samples.

• Costing & Negotiation: Prepare accurate bill of materials (BOM), perform garment costing, and negotiate fabric/trim prices with suppliers to maintain profit margins.

• Production Coordination: Work closely with the production and quality assurance (QA) teams to resolve technical issues and ensure strict adherence to buyer specifications.

• Time & Action (T&A) Planning: Create and strictly monitor T&A calendars to maintain on-time production schedules and prevent delays.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 4+ years of core merchandising experience within the Textile / Apparel / Garment Industry.

• Technical Expertise: Advanced, detailed knowledge of fabric types, fabric testing parameters, yarn counts, and garment construction processes.

• Age & Demographic: Male candidate aged 30 years or older.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Textile Technology, Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, or a related field.

• Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, supplier management, and problem-solving skills.

• Software: Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and standard email/communication tools.

• It is a Full Time తయారీ job for candidates with 3 - 6 years of experience.
