We are looking for an IT Network Technician to assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure for our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company based in Noida. Responsible for configuring network devices, communicating with clients for network whitelisting, providing technical support to employees, troubleshooting network issues, ensuring the security of our network systems, and implementing predefined security policies on network devices and desktops.

Responsibilities:

1. Network Device Setup:

• Configure and set up desktops, headsets, VPN Firewall, 16 port Network Switch, and Router according to

provided guidelines.

• Ensure proper functionality and connectivity of all network devices including Avaaya Phones.

2. Communication with Clients:

• Coordinate with clients to communicate necessary network details for whitelisting purposes.

• Provide technical documentation and assistance as needed to facilitate network integration with client

systems.

• Address client inquiries and concerns regarding network setup and connectivity.

3. Security Policy Implementation:

• Implement predefined security policies on the VPN Firewall and desktops as provided.

• Ensure that all security measures are correctly configured and operational.

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to security guidelines and policies.

4. Technical Support:

• Provide technical support to all employees, promptly resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, ensuring minimal disruption to business

operations.

• Install, configure, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.

5. Network Maintenance:

• Set up and manage IP addresses and subnets across our network infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure optimal performance.

• Monitor network security and implement preventative measures against cyber threats.

• Manage user accounts and access controls, ensuring data security and compliance with company

policies.

• Implement and maintain preventive maintenance routines for IT equipment.

6. Documentation and Collaboration:

• Document and troubleshoot technical issues, adhering to best practices.

• Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to ensure seamless technology integration

and support.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems.

• Strong understanding of networking concepts and principles, including routing, switching, and IP addressing.

• Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools and configuration software.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 7 pm
