The Assistant Sales Manager – B2B will support the sales team in driving business growth by managing key accounts, developing new industrial customers, and achieving sales targets for plastic products. The role involves handling OEMs, distributors, and corporate clients, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Assist in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual B2B sales targets
Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial and institutional segments
Manage existing customer accounts and strengthen long-term relationships
Prepare and present product proposals, quotations, and commercial negotiations
Support key account management for OEMs, distributors, and bulk buyers
Understand customer requirements and coordinate with production and dispatch teams
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure timely resolution
Conduct regular customer visits and follow-ups
Coordinate with production, planning, quality, and logistics teams for order execution
Maintain accurate sales records, order tracking, and customer data
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management review
Assist in contract management, payment follow-ups, and credit control
Ensure adherence to company sales policies, pricing guidelines, and credit norms
Support implementation of CRM systems and sales processes
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings as required
Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills
Knowledge of plastic products (injection molding, extrusion, packaging, etc. – as applicable)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze market data and customer needs
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/CRM systems
Result-oriented with strong follow-up skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred
3–6 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in plastic manufacturing or allied industries
