We are looking for an experienced and skilled South Indian Chef who can prepare authentic and delicious South Indian dishes while maintaining food quality, hygiene, and consistency.
Responsibilities
Prepare authentic South Indian dishes as per the restaurant's menu and standards.
Prepare items such as Dosa, Idli, Vada, Uttapam, Sambar, Rasam, Chutneys, Pongal, and South Indian meals.
Ensure proper taste, presentation, portion size, and quality of food.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
Manage ingredients and ensure proper storage and minimum wastage.
Follow food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
Coordinate with other kitchen staff for smooth operations.
Handle busy hours efficiently and complete orders on time.
Maintain consistency in taste and quality.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a South Indian Chef.
Good knowledge of South Indian cooking and ingredients.
Should be able to independently handle South Indian dishes.
Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
Should be punctual, responsible, and able to work as part of a team.
