Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Sanitation:
Washing dishes, utensils, pots, and equipment; sanitizing workstations, floors, walls, and appliances; disposing of waste.
Food Preparation:
Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting ingredients (fruits, veggies, meats); preparing simple dishes like salads or desserts.
Stock Management:
Receiving and storing deliveries; rotating stock; checking sell-by dates; restocking supplies at workstations.
Support for Chefs:
Assisting with meal prep; bringing ingredients to stations; operating basic kitchen machinery (mixers, slicers).
Inventory & Waste:
Monitoring inventory levels; recording food wastage.
Essential Skills:
