Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Indian Commi to assist in the preparation and cooking of authentic Indian cuisine while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should have basic to intermediate knowledge of Indian cooking techniques and be eager to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and cooking North Indian and South Indian dishes as per standard recipes.
Perform mise en place and ensure all ingredients are prepared before service.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of food.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of food items.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstation in compliance with FSSAI standards.
Assist senior chefs during busy service hours.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
Minimize food wastage and follow portion control standards.
Adhere to kitchen SOPs, safety guidelines, and company policies.
Support the team with additional kitchen responsibilities as required.
