We are looking for a skilled and passionate Indian Cuisine Chef with a strong focus on vegetarian main course dishes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing a variety of authentic and contemporary Indian vegetarian dishes, ensuring high quality, taste, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian vegetarian main course dishes (e.g., paneer, lentils, curries, regional specialties)
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and portion sizes
Develop and innovate new vegetarian recipes and menu items
Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety standards are followed
Manage inventory and coordinate with suppliers
Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role
Specialization in vegetarian Indian cuisine
Knowledge of regional Indian dishes (North Indian, South Indian, etc.)
Ability to work in a team and handle pressure
Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Culinary degree or relevant certification
2+ years of experience in a similar role
Creativity and passion for vegetarian cooking
