💰 SALARY & EARNINGS

₹30,000 – ₹40,000 IN-HAND / MONTH

Salary will depend on:

• Cooking skills

• Cuisine expertise

• Years of experience

• Role & responsibilities

• Performance

Experienced professional chefs can be considered for higher compensation based on skill and fit.

WHAT YOU WILL DO?

As a Housy Cook / Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality, fresh and delicious meals for customers.

Your responsibilities include:

• Prepare high-quality meals according to customer requirements

• Cook Indian and/or international cuisines professionally

• Follow recipes, portions and quality standards

• Plan and prepare ingredients before cooking

• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation and quality

• Prepare meals within the required time

• Handle kitchen equipment and cooking utensils safely

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen

• Check freshness and quality of ingredients

• Store food and ingredients properly

• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

• Understand customer preferences and dietary requirements

• Make reasonable modifications to dishes when required

• Maintain an organised and clean cooking area

• Assist with menu preparation and food planning

• Coordinate with the Housy team to ensure smooth service

⭐ SENIOR CHEFS / EXPERIENCED COOKS

Experienced candidates may also be responsible for:

• Supervising kitchen helpers / junior cooks

• Managing kitchen preparation

• Planning menus

• Maintaining ingredient requirements

• Training junior kitchen staff

• Ensuring consistent food quality

• Managing multiple orders / meal preparations efficiently
  

🔥 WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for professional, reliable and skilled cooks who genuinely enjoy cooking.

You should have:

✅ Strong cooking skills
✅ Good knowledge of your speciality cuisine
✅ 1–6+ years of cooking experience preferred
✅ Ability to prepare multiple dishes efficiently
✅ Good understanding of ingredients and cooking techniques
✅ Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety
✅ Ability to follow recipes and customer instructions
✅ Good time management
✅ Professional attitude
✅ Reliable and punctual behaviour

Formal education is not mandatory. Skill and practical cooking experience matter most.

Culinary training, hotel management education or professional chef certification is an added advantage, not mandatory.
