Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and creative Continental Cook (Commi 1) to prepare high-quality dishes inspired by European and Western cuisines. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, maintain high hygiene standards, and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present Continental dishes such as pasta, grilled meats, soups, salads, and baked goods.

• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size according to restaurant standards.

• Follow recipes and menu specifications provided by the Head Chef.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the kitchen at all times.

• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management.

• Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed.

• Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.

• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely service.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Continental Cook, Commis Chef, or similar role.

• Knowledge of Continental cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles.

• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.

• Ability to work in a team and handle kitchen equipment safely.

• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Culinary diploma or certification preferred but not mandatory.

• Good communication and teamwork.

Salary: 20000 INR to 25000 INR or depending on experience.
