Job Title: South Indian Chef (CDP – Chef de Partie)

We are seeking a talented and experienced South Indian Chef (CDP) to prepare authentic and high-quality South Indian dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and service. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of regional South Indian cuisines, cooking methods, and traditional flavors.
Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes including dosas, idlis, vadas, upma, sambar, rasam, curries, and chutneys.
Maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and portion control.
Follow recipes and kitchen procedures while introducing creative variations when required.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment such as dosa tawa, steamers, and grinders.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, strictly adhering to food safety standards.
Monitor ingredient freshness and manage stock rotation to reduce wastage.
Coordinate with kitchen team members for smooth and timely service.
Assist in menu planning and contribute new dish ideas.
Proven experience as a South Indian Chef, CDP, or similar role in a professional kitchen.
Strong knowledge of South Indian cooking techniques, spices, and traditional recipes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Knowledge of hygiene and safety protocols in food preparation.
Culinary diploma/certification preferred but not mandatory.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Expertise in authentic South Indian flavors.
Time management and multitasking abilities.
Teamwork and leadership skills.
Creativity in menu development and plating.
Salary: 30000 INR to 35000 INR Or Depending on Experience.
