Assist the Chef de Partie and senior kitchen staff with daily food preparation.
Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meat, poultry, seafood, sauces, and garnishes according to recipes.
Perform basic cooking tasks under supervision.
Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness, and food-safety standards in the kitchen.
Ensure food items are stored, labelled, and handled correctly.
Keep kitchen equipment, workstations, utensils, and storage areas clean and organized.
Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
Support mise en place before service and assist during busy service periods.
Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
Follow company policies, HACCP procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Assist with receiving and checking food supplies when required.
Carry out other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef.
