Job Title: Commis 3 (Kitchen Assistant)
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Commis 3 to support kitchen operations by assisting in food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth functioning of the assigned section.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as cutting, chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
Support senior chefs (Commis 1 / Commis 2 / CDP) in daily kitchen operations
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards
Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients
Follow recipes and instructions provided by senior chefs
Help in setting up and closing kitchen stations
Monitor stock levels and inform seniors about shortages
Handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good teamwork and communication skills
Attention to detail and hygiene standards
Educational Requirements
Diploma or certification in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts (preferred)
Minimum: 10th or 12th pass
Experience
0–1 year of experience in a kitchen / hotel / restaurant (freshers can apply)
Working Conditions
Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
Physically demanding role (standing for long hours)
