Job Overview

Bhookiya Restaurant is looking for active, reliable candidates for Commis 2 and Commis 3 roles in our North Indian kitchen. This opening is suitable for freshers from Hotel Management / IHM backgrounds (final semester/year students or recent pass-outs) as well as candidates with 6 months to 1 year of practical kitchen experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily kitchen preparation (cutting, chopping, and setting up base gravies and ingredients).

• Assist senior cooks in preparing North Indian curries and main dishes.

• Help prepare popular gravy and rice items such as Butter Paneer, Kadhai Paneer, Chicken Masala, and Biryani.

• Maintain clean workstations, utensils, and basic food hygiene throughout the shift.

• Coordinate smoothly with team members and follow head chef instructions during rush hours.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Education: Hotel Management degree/diploma, IHM graduates, or students in their final year/semester.

• Experience: Freshers welcome, or up to 1 year of kitchen/internship experience.

• Cuisine Knowledge: Basic understanding of North Indian curries, gravies, and spices.

• Work Schedule: Comfortable with 10-hour working shifts.

• General Skills: Punctuality, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
