CDP / DCDP – Continental Chef
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate CDP (Chef de Partie) / DCDP (Demi Chef de Partie) – Continental Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality continental dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Production
Prepare and cook continental dishes as per standard recipes.
Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
Assist in menu planning and recipe development.
Handle mise en place and ensure station readiness.
Kitchen Operations
Manage assigned kitchen section efficiently.
Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards (as per FSSAI/HACCP guidelines).
Monitor food stock and communicate shortages to Sous Chef/Head Chef.
Minimize food wastage and ensure cost control.
Team Coordination
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff (for CDP level).
Assist Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Ensure smooth coordination with service staff.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts.
