Bakery Chef

Plan, prepare, and execute a wide range of pastries, desserts, baked goods, and specialty items with consistency and precision.

Develop and innovate new recipes, seasonal menus, and signature offerings aligned with the brand’s identity.

Ensure all products meet high standards of taste, texture, presentation, and portion control.

Oversee daily kitchen operations for the pastry section, including prep schedules and workflow efficiency.

Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards as per FSSAI guidelines.

Monitor inventory levels, manage ordering of raw materials, and minimize wastage through efficient planning.

Train, supervise, and mentor junior kitchen staff and commis chefs in baking and pastry techniques.

Standardize recipes and processes to ensure consistency across batches and team members.

Coordinate with management for menu pricing, costing, and product profitability.

Ensure proper storage, labeling, and shelf-life management of all ingredients and finished goods.

Handle customized orders (cakes, desserts, hampers) with attention to detail and deadlines.

Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and ingredients to continuously elevate offerings.

Lead R&D for artisanal desserts, incorporating global techniques and locally sourced ingredients.

Collaborate with marketing teams for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and visual presentation.

Maintain aesthetic excellence for display counters, packaging, and customer-facing products.
