Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Designer with an Interior Design background to support our facility planning, diagnostic center layout, and engineering teams. The role involves preparing precise 2D/3D drawings, interior layouts, and technical plans for diagnostic centers, labs, and medical equipment zones, ensuring functionality, workflow efficiency, and aesthetic standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and update 2D/3D CAD drawings, interior layouts, space plans, and models.

• Prepare interior layouts, furniture/equipment placement drawings, circulation & workflow layouts for diagnostic centers.

• Develop floor plans, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), electrical and civil coordination drawings relevant to interior works.

• Work closely with engineering, operations, and project teams to understand spatial and functional requirements.

• Ensure optimal space utilization and compliance with safety norms, medical facility guidelines, and design standards.

• Assist in creating as-built drawings, interior detail drawings, material specifications, and project documentation.

• Coordinate with vendors for equipment sizes, installation requirements, and interior materials/finishes.

• Interpret sketches, feasibility layouts, and instructions from project managers and architects.

• Support site planning activities such as measurement, interior coordination, and resolving layout-related issues.

• Ensure timely delivery of design outputs for approvals and project execution.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D).

• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, SolidWorks, or similar CAD/visualization tools (added advantage).

• Understanding of interior design principles, space planning, ergonomics, and workflow design.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, architectural plans, and equipment specifications.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical/Civil Engineering, or related field.

• CAD / Interior Design certification is an added advantage.
