Job Title: Jr. Accountant

Location: Mumbai.

Terms: Full-time

About the Role:

This role is to support the accounts process by managing daily accounting activities, ensuring accurate reporting, statutory compliance, and smooth functioning of the accounts department in line with internal requirements.

Responsibilities:

· Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and record supplier invoices; match PO, GRN, and invoices before posting.

· Vendor Payments: Prepare payment schedules, process vendor payments, and track pending bills and advances.

· Expense Management: Record employee reimbursements, petty cash, and ensure compliance with company policies.

· Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform monthly vendor reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and prepare payment/liability reports.

· Compliance & Documentation: Maintain GST, TDS, and statutory records; assist in audits with proper documentation.

· Coordination: Collaborate with Procurement, Stores, and Finance teams for smooth invoice and payment operations.

Candidate Requirements:

· B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting or Finance.

· 1–3 years of experience in accounting roles

· Experience with Tally and Excel

· Experience with SAP software preferred

· Strong understanding of basic accounting procedures

· High attention to detail and data accuracy

· Effective problem-solving and time management skills

· Strong interpersonal and communication skill
