Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized account assistant to support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks. The candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records and ledgers
Assist in preparing invoices, bills, and bank statements
Handle accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
Assist in preparing financial reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
Support GST/TDS filings (if applicable)
Monitor expenses and verify financial documents
Assist in audits and compliance activities
Maintain proper filing of financial documents
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Busy, QuickBooks, Excel)
Good numerical and analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and taxation (preferred)
Good communication and organizational skills
