Key Responsibilities
Ledger Management: Manage day-to-day general ledger operations and reconcile bank statements.
Payables & Receivables: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments and client collections.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual profit/loss statements and balance sheets.
Compliance & Taxes: Compute statutory dues, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with local financial regulations (e.g., GST and TDS norms in India).
Auditing: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documents and variance analysis.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter).
Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or corporate accounting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, high ethical standards, and effective communication skills.
