Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Prachi Fixtures Private Limited in Bhosari, Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring tax compliance (GST/TDS), maintaining accurate balance sheets, and keeping our books up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & Transactions: Manage and oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Tax Compliance: Handle timely computations, filings, and compliance for GST and TDS.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, Balance Sheets, and Profit & Loss reports.

• Data Management: Maintain up-to-date ledger entries and secure digital/physical backups of financial data using Tally and MS Excel.

• Audit Support: Assist with internal or external financial audits by keeping documentation accurate and organized.

Job Requirements & Skills

• Education: Graduate degree and above (B.Com / M.Com or equivalent preferred).

• Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience in a core accounting role.

• Software Proficiency: Strong operational knowledge of Tally and MS Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, formulas).

• Core Knowledge: Deep understanding of GST, TDS, Balance Sheet finalization, and basic accounting principles.

• Knowledge about following Entries- SALES, PURCHASES, BANK ENTRIES, TDS ENTRIES,TDS RATE KNOWLEGE, E WAY BILL,INVOICE CREATION.

• Attributes: High numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong sense of confidentiality.
