Job Title: Tele Counsellor

Introduction: We are looking for a dedicated Tele Counsellor to join our team in the education industry. As a Tele Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance and support to students and parents regarding educational programs, admissions, career paths, and academic planning. This position involves remote counseling via phone calls, video conferencing, and online platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct telephonic and virtual counseling sessions with prospective students, current students, and parents regarding educational programs, courses, and admissions procedures.

• Assist students in exploring educational options that align with their academic interests, career goals, and personal strengths.

• Provide information about curriculum, course requirements, prerequisites, and extracurricular activities offered by the institution.

• Address inquiries related to admissions criteria, application deadlines, financial aid options, scholarships, and tuition fees.

• Guide students through the application and enrollment process, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.

• Offer career counseling and advice on potential career paths based on academic achievements and interests.

• Collaborate with academic advisors, faculty members, and administrative staff to resolve student issues and concerns.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive student information.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Counselor or Adviser in the education sector, preferably with telephonic counseling experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Any Field.

• Strong understanding of educational programs, admissions processes, and career development resources.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to empathize with students and parents while providing objective guidance.

• Proficiency in using teleconferencing and online counseling platforms.

• Knowledge of student information systems or CRM software is a plus.

• Familiarity with educational trends, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a counseling role specifically within an educational institution.

• Additional certifications or training in college counseling or career advising.

• Multilingual proficiency is advantageous, especially if dealing with diverse student populations.
