We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer with a strong background in Electrical Engineering and hands-on experience in Factory Automation technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by providing technical expertise, understanding customer needs, and delivering effective automation solutions. This role bridges engineering and sales, playing a key part in expanding our footprint in industrial automation markets.
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within manufacturing and industrial segments.
Promote and sell factory automation products and solutions (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, servo drives, sensors, robotics, industrial networking, IIoT systems).
Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals to customers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with system integrators, OEMs, distributors, and end users.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s revenue growth strategy.
Analyze customer requirements, production challenges, and automation needs to propose optimal technical solutions.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including product selection, system design guidance, and troubleshooting.
Conduct site visits, application studies, and feasibility analysis for automation projects.
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized solutions when needed.
Offer training and technical workshops for customers and channel partners.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
2–5+ years of experience in factory automation, industrial control systems, or technical sales (experience range can be adjusted).
Hands-on knowledge of PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, servo/drive systems, or robotics is strongly preferred.
Experience working with leading automation brands (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider, ABB, etc.) is an advantage.
Strong technical aptitude in electrical systems and industrial automation technologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to understand and translate technical needs into business solutions.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CAD/electrical design tools is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
