A. Enquiry Handling & Lead Management
• Monitor and promptly respond to incoming enquiries received through IndiaMART, the company website, email, and other online portals.
• Understand customer requirements, share relevant product information, quotations, and catalogues, and guide prospects through the buying process.
• Qualify leads, capture accurate enquiry details, and maintain an organised lead tracker / CRM with timely follow-ups.
B. Sales & Order Conversion
• Prepare and share price quotations, negotiate within approved limits, and follow up to convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue goals of the team.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
C. Internal Coordination & Client Support
• Act as the point of contact between the client and internal teams to resolve queries related to orders, payments, and product availability.
• Follow up internally to ensure timely fulfilment of customer commitments and proactive communication on any delays.
D. Reporting & Occasional Field Visits
• Maintain daily / weekly sales reports including enquiries received, follow-ups, conversions, and pending orders.
• Provide regular feedback to the management on market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity.
Technical / Functional Skills:
• Familiarity with B2B lead portals such as IndiaMART, TradeIndia, and CRM / lead-management tools.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to prepare quotations and sales reports.
• Good understanding of the sales process from enquiry handling to order closure and follow-up.
