Assistant Sales Manager

Job Summary:

The Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager in planning and implementing sales strategies to achieve business goals. This role involves supervising the sales team, maintaining client relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position requires strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills to drive sales growth and meet organizational targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Sales Manager in developing and executing sales plans and strategies to achieve company objectives.

• Supervise, train, and motivate the sales team to meet individual and team sales targets.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities.

• Maintain strong relationships with key clients and manage customer accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.

• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management review.

• Coordinate with marketing and product teams to align promotional activities with sales objectives.

• Handle inquiries, resolve customer complaints, and ensure smooth communication between clients and internal departments.

• Participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and promotional events.

• Support in budgeting, pricing strategies, and sales negotiations as needed.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, and ethical standards.
