The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for guiding students, parents, and working professionals about various IT courses such as Software Development, Data Analytics, MS Office, Tally GST, Graphic Designing, Web Development, and other technical programs offered by the institute.
This role involves counselling, follow-ups, admissions handling, and meeting monthly enrollment targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Counselling
Provide accurate information about IT, software, and computer-related courses.
Assess students’ educational background, interests, and career goals to suggest suitable courses.
Explain course features, curriculum, duration, fees, job opportunities, and certifications.
Counsel walk-in enquiries at the centre and handle online/telephonic enquiries.
2. Admission Handling
Manage the entire admission process—from enquiry to enrollment.
Maintain records of counselling sessions, admissions, fee payments, and documentation.
Guide students with form filling, payment options, instalment plans, and batch timings.
3. Follow-Up & Lead Conversion
Make follow-up calls/messages to potential students.
Convert leads generated through marketing campaigns, website, WhatsApp, and social media.
Ensure high conversion rates and meet monthly admission targets.
4. Coordination & Administration
Coordinate with trainers/faculty regarding batch schedules and student requirements.
Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation of new students.
Handle counselling reports, daily enquiry logs, and admission statistics.
5. Marketing Support
Support promotional activities like seminars, webinars, workshops, and events.
Provide feedback on market trends and competitors’ offerings.
Assist in creating awareness about courses on digital platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
12th Pass/Graduate in any discipline
Experience
2–5 years of experience in counselling.
Experience in the IT training/education sector is a plus.
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong convincing and presentation abilities.
Basic knowledge of IT courses like MS Office, Tally, Web Design, Python, Data Science, Full Stack, etc.
Comfortable with CRM, MS Excel, WhatsApp Business, and telecalling.
Target-oriented mindset with good follow-up skills.
Professional attitude and student-friendly approach.

Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)
