Academic Counsellor

We are looking for a Academic Counselor to join our team Education World Society . The role involves managing and updating information accurately and efficiently, supporting key data management processes, and performing various administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:

Academic and career guidance: Provide personalized advice on course selection, degree requirements, and academic planning to help students achieve their educational and career goals.

Progress monitoring:Tra ck students' academic performance and progress toward graduation, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.

Student support: Assist students who are facing academic difficulties by providing support, referrals to other services (like tutoring or mental health counseling), and helping them develop effective study habits and time management skills.

Resource and information provision: Inform students about academic policies, procedures, available resources, and opportunities like scholarships or post-graduate programs.

Collaboration: Work closely with faculty, parents, and other university staff to support student success and address concerns.

Program development: Conduct workshops, seminars, and orientation programs on topics related to academic skills, career planning, and other relevant subjects.

Record keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions, progress, and advising sessions.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 0 - 3 years of experience. The role requires excellent attention to detail, high level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Candidates must be open to 6 days working during the Day shift.
