Job Description – Technician / ACM-cum-Technician (Glass Industry)

Position: Technician / ACM-cum-Technician
Department: Production / Maintenance
Reporting To: Supervisor / Shift In-charge

Job Purpose

To operate machines, help maintain equipment, and ensure smooth production of glass products while following safety and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Operate glass manufacturing or processing machines.

• Check machines regularly and report any problems.

• Assist in machine maintenance and repairs.

• Ensure glass products meet quality standards.

• Keep the work area clean and safe.

• Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.

• Record production and maintenance activities.

• Support supervisors and senior technicians in daily work.

• Help achieve production targets on time.

• Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams.

Requirements

• ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification.

• Basic knowledge of machine operation and maintenance.

• Ability to work in shifts.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Experience in a glass manufacturing company is preferred.
