The Store Executive will be responsible for efficiently managing the inventory and material movement within the manufacturing facility. The role involves maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring timely material availability for production, and implementing effective inventory control measures to support smooth operations.
1. Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
Regularly update stock registers and ERP/Inventory Management System.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
2. Material Handling & Storage
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stacking of raw materials, tools, and finished goods.
Monitor the condition of stored items and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Coordinate with production and purchase teams for material issue and replenishment.
3. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), Issue Slips, and other stock-related documents.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
Maintain records as per ISO/Company audit requirements.
4. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments for timely material movement.
Support the purchase department in tracking pending deliveries and material follow-ups.
Assist in planning material requirements based on production schedules.
5. Compliance & Safety
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material handling.
Ensure workplace safety and housekeeping in the store area.
Comply with company policies, audits, and statutory requirements.
Knowledge of inventory management and storekeeping practices.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar).
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Basic understanding of industrial machinery components and spare parts.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Qualification: Diploma / Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, or Supply Chain).
Experience: 2–5 years of experience as a Store Executive / Store Assistant in a manufacturing or engineering setup.
