Counter Sales

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders

• Write personalized messages on cakes (e.g., birthday, anniversary) with neatness and accuracy

• Repair or touch up damaged cakes to maintain presentation standards

• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the counter and work area

• Assist in restocking and managing bakery display items

• Handle basic cafe operations (serving, preparing simple beverages, etc.)

• Process payments and operate the POS system efficiently

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and concerns politely

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a bakery, café, or similar food service role

• Basic cake decorating skills (writing, small touch-ups)

• Friendly and approachable personality with good communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a fast-paced bakery or café environment

• Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
