Job Description: Retail Sales Person – Trent Westside Store (A TATA Enterprise)

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection.

• Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.

• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally.

• Ensure a positive shopping environment at all times.

Sales & Product Knowledge

• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

• Develop a strong understanding of Trent’s product range, materials, sizes, fits, and current promotions.

• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales.

Store Operations

• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing store displays.

• Manage inventory on the shop floor; ensure stock levels are adequate and report shortages.

• Assist in receiving, tagging, and arranging new stock.

• Operate POS systems for billing, returns, and exchanges.

Visual Merchandising

• Assist in implementing merchandising plans according to Trent Westside standards.

• Ensure mannequins, racks, and shelves follow brand guidelines.

• Keep changing rooms tidy and assist customers as needed.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with store managers and fellow team members to meet store goals.

• Participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and performance reviews.

Qualifications & Skills

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic math and computer skills.

• Customer-service–oriented attitude.

Preferred

• Previous retail or fashion sales experience.

• Understanding of store operations, merchandising, and inventory management.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Conditions

• Flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

• Standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of merchandise.
