We are looking for a HR Manager to join our team at St Courier Private Limited to manage the full-cycle HR process for the organization. The tasks include identifying potential candidates, interviewing, and evaluating them, Joining, Training & Developement, Payroll management, Attendance management, PF, ESI, PT & End to End HR Activities and manage a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment for drivers, warehouse staff, operations, and corporate roles
Coordinate manpower planning for multiple locations, hubs, and depots
Handle vendor management, contract staffing, and third-party manpower agencies
2. HR Operations
Oversee onboarding, induction, confirmation, and exit processes
Maintain HR records, MIS reports, and employee databases
Manage attendance, shift rosters, leave, payroll coordination, and overtime
3. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws
Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, CLRA, Shops & Establishments Act, Factory Act
Handle audits, inspections, and labor department interactions
Draft and update HR policies as per legal and business requirements
4. Employee Relations & Engagement
Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters
Maintain healthy industrial relations across locations
Drive employee engagement initiatives for field and operational staff
5. Performance Management & Training
Implement performance appraisal systems (KRA/KPI based)
Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs
Support leadership in succession planning and talent development
6. Compensation & Benefits
Assist in salary structuring, increments, incentives, and retention plans
Manage benefits administration, insurance, and welfare initiatives
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of labor laws & statutory compliance
Experience handling large blue-collar workforce
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
High level of integrity, leadership, and decision-making ability
Proficient in HRMS, payroll systems, and MS Excel
Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-location logistics environments
Preferred Qualifications
MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or Industrial Relations
Prior experience in Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing, FMCG, or Manufacturing
Exposure to union handling is an added advantage
