Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Schedule appointments and manage patient bookings using electronic health record (EHR) systems
Verify patient information, insurance details, and assist with registration
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow
Handle billing inquiries and collect payments when required
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory tracking
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Prior experience in a medical or health care setting is an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office and health care management software
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
