Job Summary
As the Clinic Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. You will manage the front desk, handle administrative tasks, and ensure the daily clinic flow runs smoothly. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Welcome: Greet patients warmly upon arrival, manage the check-in/check-out process, and maintain a tidy reception area.
Scheduling & Phones: Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic calendar efficiently.
Administrative Support: Manage patient files, update Electronic Health Records (EHR), and handle incoming/outgoing mail and faxes.
Billing & Payments: Process patient co-pays, handle billing inquiries, and verify insurance information.
Coordination: Act as a bridge of communication between patients, doctors, and medical staff to ensure high-quality service.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role is required.
Industry Bonus: Prior experience working in a hospital or medical clinic environment is a huge plus.
Skills:
Proficiency with medical scheduling software and basic computer applications (MS Office).
Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
