Clinic Assistant

• Billing and insurance: Handle insurance approvals, process paperwork, and may perform billing duties, collect payments, and manage petty cash.
• Office management: Order medical and office supplies, maintain equipment, and perform general clerical tasks like scanning, faxing, and emailing.
• Clinical duties
• Patient preparation: Room patients, take and record vital signs, and obtain patient histories.
• Assisting medical staff: Help healthcare professionals during procedures, prepare examination rooms, and ensure instruments are sterilized and ready.
• Laboratory support: Perform basic lab duties, such as completing requisitions, testing samples (e.g., urine, glucose), and delivering specimens.
• Patient interaction: Provide instructions to patients regarding administrative and logistical procedures, and act as a liaison between patients and providers.
