Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer for our Solar Sales Department in Bihar. The role involves providing technical support, installation, maintenance, and after-sales service for solar products and solutions. The candidate will ensure smooth functioning of systems, resolve customer complaints, and support the sales team with technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and commission solar power systems at customer sites.

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other solar equipment.

• Provide technical support and training to customers and channel partners.

• Troubleshoot and resolve product/service-related issues in a timely manner.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt service and professional handling.

• Assist the sales team by providing technical demonstrations and product knowledge during client interactions.

• Maintain service reports, warranty claims, and documentation as per company standards.

• Coordinate with the head office and vendors for spare parts, escalations, and technical guidance.

• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards during all service activities.

• Regularly monitor performance of installed solar systems and suggest improvements.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and related equipment.

• Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

• Proficiency in using testing tools and electrical measuring instruments.

• Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and installation standards.

• Excellent communication and customer handling skills.

• Ability to travel extensively within Bihar for service requirements.

• Team player with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ITI/Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy Engineering.

• 3–4 years of experience in solar service, installation, or maintenance (preferred battery / Solar Sales companies).

• Hands-on experience with solar PV systems, batteries, and inverters is mandatory.

• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements in the solar industry.

• It is a Full Time Mechanic job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
