Job Title: Head of Marketing / Marketing Manager (School)Position OverviewThe Head of Marketing is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the school’s overall marketing, branding, and communication strategies. This role plays a key part in increasing student enrollment, enhancing the school’s reputation, and ensuring consistent and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities1. Marketing Strategy & PlanningDevelop and execute annual marketing and communication plans aligned with school goals.Identify target markets and create strategies to increase admissions and retention.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and parent expectations.2. Brand ManagementMaintain and enhance the school’s brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.Oversee design and production of marketing materials (brochures, flyers, banners, hoardings, promotional videos).Manage school website content, ensuring accuracy, appeal, and regular updates.3. Digital MarketingLead the school’s digital presence across social media platforms.Create and manage online campaigns, SEO/SEM, and paid advertising.Track digital analytics and adjust strategies for better engagement and conversions.4. Admissions & Lead Generation SupportCoordinate closely with the admissions team to generate and nurture leads.Create campaigns to promote open houses, school tours, events, and parent engagement programs.Maintain a CRM system to track inquiries and monitor conversion performance.5. Communication & Public RelationsDraft and manage parent communication, newsletters, circulars, and press releases.Build strong relationships with media, community partners, and education influencers.Handle crisis communication and reputation management when required.6. Event ManagementPlan and execute school events such as annual days, exhibitions, orientations, and outreach programs.Promote events across internal and external channels to maximize visibility.7. Collaboration & LeadershipLead and mentor the marketing team (designers, content writers, coordinators).Work closely with the Principal and school leadership on strategic initiatives.Coordinate with academic and administrative departments for smooth communicationExperience3 to 4years of experience in marketing; experience in education sector is an advantage.
