Site Engineer-3
A Solar Site Engineer supervises the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards (HSE), and quality control on-site. They act as the primary technical contact, coordinating with subcontractors, managing schedules, and troubleshooting installation issues to meet project milestones and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities-
Site Supervision: Manage daily installation activities for rooftop or utility-scale projects to meet project schedules.
Technical Compliance: Ensure construction adheres strictly to structural and electrical drawings, design specs, and local regulatory codes (e.g., CEA, DISCOM).
Inspection & Quality Control: Inspect incoming materials (modules, inverters, structures) and perform testing and commissioning of solar systems.
Project Documentation: Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), quality checklists, material records, and update Project Managers.
Troubleshooting: Solve technical issues and roadblocks that arise during installation.
Safety Adherence: Implement Health & Safety Norms (HSE) on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in solar PV site execution (ground-mounted or rooftop).
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, wiring, grid integration, and PV simulation software.
Skills: Strong communication, contractor management, and problem-solving abilities.
