POST-Solar Technical Coordinator.
oversees the operations, maintenance, and performance of solar energy systems, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability. They coordinate preventative maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, analyze performance data, and manage documentation and vendor relations, typically requiring electrical knowledge and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities.
Site Survey & Solar Assessment. - Analysis of Electricity Bill & Payback Calculations. - Preparation of Quotation & follow-up with client
- Meeting the Clients, making them understand Solar & its benefits.
- Visiting IOCL Petrol Pumps for Solarization opportunities.
- Should have knowledge of all the components of Solar System Off-Grid & On-Grid.
- Should have done Certified Roof Top PV Solar course from institutes like GERMI or GISE is preferred.
- Basics of Net Metering & their rules/procedure in different states.
- Good Networking in the Industry
- Manage the work of engineering design of different projects, recognize the requirements from the clients and interact with them on daily basis regarding design & engineering concept of the projects in hand.
- Prepare the design and do the calculations and delivering to the client. And also prepared the BoM and with technical details.
- DC & AC side designing which includes design & Analyzing the existing system configuration and selecting a proper evacuation selection, calculating the rating of the switchgear and protection required in the system, cable sizing, Earthing calculations
- DC side designing of solar rooftop PV projects, which include the stringing calculations, module selection, inverter range - Shadow analysis - PV syst report for estimating the Yield Generation of the Solar Plant.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: A 2-year technical diploma, engineering degree,
Experience: Experience in solar PV construction, electrical systems, or field-level maintenance.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of electrical systems (LV/HV), SCADA systems, and performance monitoring software.
Software Proficiency: Intermediate skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarization with CAD or GIS software.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work within a team.
