1 Team Handling, Cordination with clients    2 Inspection of Material at Receipt.   3 Monitor In Process Inspection.   4 Final Inspection.   5 Calibration of equipments   Authorities: -   1 To stop supply of inferior quality material from suppliers.   2 To advice the Manager-Operation for change in operator/contractor in case  of rejection in In -process or final inspection. All monitoring and measuring equipments used for checking conformance of products to requirement is controlled, calibrated and maintained as given below : - 1 Methods for checking criteria for acceptance and frequency of rechecking are prescribed. 2 Where the availability of technical data pertaining to monitoring and measuring equipments is a specified requirement, such data is made available when required by customer or customer’s representative. 3 Monitoring and measuring is carried out in a manner that is consistent with the monitoring and measuring requirements. 4 Each equipment is given unique identification number and is calibrated periodically. The details of the equipment type, location, frequency of calibration, acceptance criteria are also specified. The calibration is against certified equipment traceable to national or international standards. Where no such standard exists, the basis is documented. 5 The calibration status is identified.   6 The calibration records are maintained.   7 When monitoring and measurement is found to be out of calibration, the validity of previous inspection results is assessed. 8 Monitoring and measuring equipments are stored, handled and maintained in suitable environment. 9 All the users of equipment are informed to handle the equipment in a manner such that the accuracy and fitness for use are maintained. 10 Persons using such equipment are informed not to alter the calibration settings.   11 Conformity of the Quality Management System by conducting periodic internal audits of the system and analyzing the trends of failures.  12 The effectiveness of the QMS is reviewed during the management review meeting and the plans for continually improving the same is identified in these meeting after analyzing the trends of performance parameters.                     1.0              Monitoring and measurement of products:     Product characteristics are measured and monitored as:    1 Receiving inspection and testing : Inspection of parts received Recorded on GRN.   2 In-process Inspection – Production cum Inspection Report    3 Final Inspection – Pre Despatch Inspection Report .           2.0             Inspection and test records:     Inspection and test records are maintained which identify the authority responsible for release of material.
