Quality Analyst

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance & Control:

   • Monitor and inspect civil engineering works to ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

   • Develop and implement quality control plans for construction activities, ensuring adherence to established quality standards and client specifications.

   • Ensure the materials used in construction meet the necessary quality standards, specifications, and regulatory guidelines.

2. Inspection & Testing:

   • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure that the construction activities meet the design and quality requirements.

   • Coordinate and perform various field and laboratory tests (e.g., concrete slump tests, soil tests, material sampling).

   • Ensure that all inspections and tests are documented and that results are accurately reported.

   • Identify and investigate non-conformities, suggesting corrective actions to rectify quality issues.

3. Documentation & Reporting:

   • Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, testing results, and compliance reports.

   • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing inspections, test results, and progress on quality assurance issues.

   • Document any non-conformities, corrective actions taken, and any recommendations for improvement.

4. Collaboration with Project Teams:

   • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout the construction process.

   • Participate in site meetings to provide feedback on quality-related matters, such as potential risks or areas for improvement.

   • Provide technical support and advice on quality-related concerns during the construction phase.

5. Audit & Compliance:

   • Assist in internal and external audits to verify compliance with quality standards and regulations.

   • Ensure the proper handling of materials and the appropriate construction techniques to maintain quality and safety.

   • Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions taken to address identified quality issues and ensure continuous improvement.

6. Continuous Improvement:

   • Analyze project performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for enhancing quality processes.

   • Provide recommendations for process improvements based on lessons learned and industry best practices.

   • Contribute to the development of updated quality standards and procedures based on the evolving needs of the project and industry standards.

7. Training & Development:

   • Provide training to site personnel on quality control procedures, best practices, and new regulations.

   • Stay updated with the latest industry standards, materials, and quality techniques, and share this knowledge with the team.

8. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

   • Ensure that all quality control activities are carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

   • Monitor and report on the environmental impact of construction activities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
