Job Description

Job Title: Production Manager – Furniture Manufacturing

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the complete furniture manufacturing process. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of production planning, team management, quality control, and factory operations to ensure timely and cost-effective production.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and supervise daily furniture production activities.

Manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Lead and supervise production staff, carpenters, machine operators, and supervisors.

Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company standards.

Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to improve productivity.

Coordinate with the design, procurement, warehouse, and dispatch teams.

Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and production equipment.

Implement workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean production environment.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

3–8 years of experience in furniture manufacturing or wood-based production.

Strong knowledge of modular furniture, woodworking processes, CNC machines, edge banding, lamination, and assembly.

Experience in production planning, inventory control, and quality management.

Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software is an added advantage.

Salary: As per experience and company standards.
