Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding using CO₂ / MIG welding machines on mild steel and other metals
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces before welding
Ensure proper alignment and fit-up of components
Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and defects
Operate tools like grinders, cutting torches, and measuring instruments
Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper functioning
Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times

Skills to have :

ITI / Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, or related field
Proven experience in CO₂ (MIG) welding
Ability to read technical drawings
Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards
