Manufacturing Site Supervisor

Job Purpose

To oversee daily production activities, supervise shop floor teams, and ensure material availability, quality compliance, and timely completion of jobs as per customer requirements.

Job Overview

•Role Reports to: Director

Key Responsibilities & Indicative Activities

1. Team Supervision

•Allocate daily work to operators/workers and monitor performance.

•Train, guide, and motivate team members to improve productivity and quality.

2. Production & Quality Management

•Ensure fabrication activities meet customer specifications and deadlines.

•Coordinate with the quality team to minimize rework and maintain quality standards.

3. Material & Inventory Management

•Monitor raw material availability and raise replenishment requests in advance.

•Verify material issue slips, consumption records, and track wastage.

•Coordinate with stores/purchase team to avoid production delays due to shortages.

4. Safety & Compliance

•Enforce safety protocols and ensure workers follow PPE usage.

•Maintain housekeeping and a safe working environment on the shop floor.

5. Reporting & Documentation

•Maintain daily production logs, material usage reports, and attendance records.

•Escalate breakdowns, shortages, or deviations to management promptly.
