Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Panel Saw Operator with hands-on experience in operating Homage saw or panel saw machines, specifically in the modular furniture or laminate industry. The candidate must be able to read cutting plans, optimize sheet cutting, ensure accuracy, and maintain the quality of output as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate panel saw (manual) as per production plan.

• Interpret and follow cutting list / nesting plans for accurate panel sizing.

• Ensure correct alignment, squareness, and dimension of cut materials.

• Select correct panel sheets (laminate, MDF, particleboard, etc.) for cutting.

• Monitor machine parameters and adjust as required for clean and accurate cuts.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleanliness.

• Minimize material wastage through optimal usage and nesting.

• Report damaged panels, blade issues, or machine malfunctions to maintenance.

• Maintain logs of daily production and material consumption.

• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times

Job Requirements:

·        ITI / Diploma in Woodworking / Machine Operation or equivalent.

·        On-job training or certification on panel saw machine operation preferred.

·        Experience in operating Panel Saw  (Homag, Altendorf, or similar).

·        Ability to read and understand cutting lists, measurements, and layout drawings.

·        Basic understanding of sheet optimization and material types.
