Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components as per engineering drawings.
Perform machine setup, workpiece clamping, and tool offset setting.
Load CNC programs and verify machining operations before production.
Monitor machining processes and make necessary offset adjustments.
Perform tool changes and monitor tool wear during production.
Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per quality requirements.
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Coordinate with CNC Programmers, Tool Room, Quality, and Production teams for smooth operations.

Required Qualifications

ITI, Diploma,Machinist Trade, or a related field.
CNC machine operation certification is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in CNC Milling Machine operation.
Knowledge of machine setup, tool offset setting, and tool changing.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.
Basic understanding of G-code and M-code programs.
Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, feeds, and speeds.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments for inspection.
Basic knowledge of preventive machine maintenance.
